Review: Bartender Kennedy Beaumont can hold her own against almost anyone but when it comes to her boss Tristan Callaghan she could lose herself. Even as Tristan tries to stay away from Kennedy circumstances and enemies bring the two together. No longer can they deny the deep attraction they each feel towards each other. One night after work as Tristan stops to help Kennedy out it all begins to happen. Within a few short seconds Kennedy is thrown into a whole other world full of magic, violence and sex. As Kennedy learns about Tristan and his world she must also learn about herself and decide just what her feelings are towards Tristan. Gargoyles, mystical daggers, giant cats and much more, it all makes her head spin. As if all that is not enough Kennedy has been singled out for death and Tristan must protect her. Will he choose Kennedy or will he choose to save his brother?
A wonderful world full of great characters this story is not to be missed. No matter where you look each character is full of depth and Sydney Somers has the reader glued to the story turning the pages to find out just what happens next. Kennedy is a great heroine so full of strength and Tristan is a great Alpha male all brooding and full of fight. Yet he is so kind and loving to Kennedy it is a wonderful thing to see. The bond that grows between the two is a beautiful thing to read. Each one of them ready to fight for the other and ready to do what ever is needed even if it means their own death. Primal Hunger is a great book. Sydney Somers brings the reader into her wondrous world and never lets you go. With her great Alpha males and strong females you cannot go wrong. This story had me from the first page. I truly loved the world she created for these characters and cannot wait to read the next installment in the gargoyle series.
